TCAs: Vin Diesel Gives Shout-Out To Meadow Walker As Dad Paul Wins

Paul Walker has been honored in numerous ways since he passed in November 2013, and that continued at the Teen Choice Awards as he won Choice Movie Actor: Action/Adventure. Even more touching, his daughter Meadow was there to watch it happen.

Although Paul Walker may no longer be with us, his legacy lives on thanks to the Teen Choice Awards. Fans selected him as Choice Movie Actor: Action/Adventure for his role in Furious 7, and members of his Fast and the Furious family were in attendance to celebrate his win as well as the movie’s win for Choice Movie: Action/Adventure. Vin Diesel reserved a special place in his acceptance speech for Paul, and even gave a shout-out to his daughter, Meadow Walker, who happened to be in the audience.


Ludacris revealed Paul’s win after Furious 7 was named Choice Movie: Action/Adventure as he, Vin, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster accepted that award. While giving an acceptance speech on behalf of everyone, Vin said, “I can’t stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about somebody very, very, very important to us. One of the best blessings in our lives is the fact that we have the opportunity to call Pablo our brother. Paul Walker is here in spirit with us.”
